Due to experience and technology gaps, the playing field heavily favors hedge funds and corporations over individuals. Zivolve levels the playing field by using AI to suggest decisions based on market trends.
I collaborated with a fellow intern on many high-fidelity designs across the product. However, I took a prominent role in ensuring that the screens my co-intern and I create adhere to the design system and preparing the user flows to present during the next team meeting.
On top of learning essential investment fundamentals and concepts on the fly, I applied design thinking, followed design system guidelines, and ensured the best UI practices for my work. When I had knowledge gaps, I asked for clarification. Not doing so would increase the likelihood of a faulty design.
My co-intern and I designed many features essential to the product’s success. Most screens are still in the agile development process and will be live in the upcoming 5 product versions.
Before starting my internship, I had limited knowledge of asset trading. However, I understood critical concepts by conducting research and receiving guidance from the team.
It made me realize that understanding complexities is something few people can fit into their schedules. Making the complex understandable is critical in designing people-focused interfaces.
Only screens live in the app are shown (the screens in the thumbnail). To learn more about my experience, feel free to reach out!
